India (Primarily in Lucknow and without the local dilect the language
development wouldn't have been possible. )

anilkumarshinu on December 28, 2011 r.d burman is a great musician, but he has copied a lot of songs from
english to make his projects.
Arindam DasGupta on December 28, 2011 @anilkumarshinu This is not to agree or disagree whether rd copied or not.
I really do not think copying should be thought about something bad.
sitting today with internet all over and around we speak about copying from
other songs. but i think more that copying gave us to listen to a music
which we might not have got a chance to hear at all.. copying the right
music and making a melody out of it in a different language is a big skill
similar to our copying in the exams and getting high scores
anilkumarshinu on December 29, 2011 @dgarindam1983 I can show one example. The song "Mehabooba" is direct lift
from Demis Roussoss’s Say You Love Me.
bkc7577 on January 13, 2012 Dear Sir, I wouldn't use the word, "copying". Perhaps the word, "editing", or "enhancing" or "blending" or even "transforming" would be better words. R. D. blended western music with eastern in a manner that would only suit a genious. His speciality was the way he would use rhythm. If you don't have training in music, you can never catch his rhythm. His music may be described as "fantastic".
pradyjob on February 05, 2012 RD Burman copy 1 ( few of the examples)
Aa dekhen zara - Jeff Wayne - War of the worlds
Jahan teri ye nazar hai - Zia Atabi's 'Heleh maali
Mehbooba mehbooba - Demis Roussos - Say You Love Me
Aap sa koi haseen - Googoosh - Gharibe Ashena
Katra katra milti hai - Jeff Wayne The War of the Worlds - Horsell Common
Kahin na ja - Grace Jones - La Vie En Rose
Dilbar mere kab tak - Alexandra - Zigeunerjunge
Zingdgi milke bitayenge - The Longest Day by Paul Anka
pradyjob on February 05, 2012 RD Burman copy 3 ( few of the examples)
Tere liye zamana tere liye part - Mamma mia ( Abba )
Tumse milke aisa laga - When I need you by Rod stewart( BPM is slow)
Jeevan ke har modh pe - Azerbaijani number 'Gulsenim'
Dekta hun koi ladki haseen - Mustafa mustafa by Bob Azzam
Kaisa tera pyar [Film: Love Story] - I have a dream by abba
Kahin karti hogi - Herb Alpert & The Tijuana Brass - The Lonely Bull
Phir wohi raat hai - The carpenters :: Sing a Song
ituj100 on February 12, 2012 Dost no one's denying that, but it cannot belittle the genius of RD. grow up and listen to his songs...
dantom92 on February 24, 2012 SPB, Anuradha Paudwal and RDB really rocks
PARAG MITRA on March 03, 2012 @anilkumarshinu Those song he entirely transformed. None are born with
tune. All composers are inspired by their predecessors/ seniors...RD left
his Unique Signature & Style in all "copies". You might agree that he
totally transformed Hindi Film Music- today the music directors actually
USE his Method of using the Bass, Rhythm and Lead Guitars and yet they do
not reach near anywhere in quality and freshness as RD. Show us any
timeless composition from the music-directors today :)
anilkumarshinu on March 05, 2012 @dgarindam1983 Hello bro, I just told the fact what I had experienced. You
are absolutely right. I am a big fan of RD-Kishorekumar combination. When
compared with the current what is called "Musicians", RD is a GOD.
Bikram Singh on April 03, 2012 Where you live bro, he has been died for long time !
Dolphy Vy on April 05, 2012 what a awesome song!! soul touching and reality tht strikes the heart!!!
thansk for the upload my friend!!
0point00 on May 21, 2012 Actually only very few of RD's best songs are "copied". Mehbooba from
sholay is one. However, I won't consider mild inspirations as copy: For
example, "Chura Liya" is definitely very original and not a copy- at best
it is a mild inspiration. And the there is a ocean of RD hits that are
completely original.
Shushobhan Nath on May 29, 2012 I chill my mind and soul with this song by Pancham da.
Devata on June 07, 2012 Красивая и чувственная песня! РДБ и Бала с Анурадхой супер!
Zeeshan Jawed on July 21, 2012 RD Burman was a big copy cat
Amit Karn on July 23, 2012 Asha Bhosle...Despite you being so experienced and versatile you at times
are very irritating...RD was a great Musician but not a good singer and
SPB is a great singer and has done complete justice. To say that he puts
harkats and therefore RD version was the right one only tells me that
despite being into music you listen with a block mind.Thats not
right.thats not ethical...thats simply not professional...
subramanya04 on July 25, 2012 I agree with Amit Karn..RD was a great musician, I am a die hard fan of
RD..but still he copied or was heavily influenced by Western music. If Asha
thought that SPB was putting lot of hrkats then why didnt she insist RD to
sing the song & why did RD call SPB from Chennai??...Also original Bengali
song was sung by Asha..but Hindi version was sung by Anuradha Paudwal :P
subramanya04 on July 25, 2012 And ppl who disagree with the greatness of SPB, they should understand that
he has sung more than 40,000 songs &holds the Guiness record for singing
the maximum number of songs sung by male singer. He had a monopoly in South
Indian Industry till early 2000s. He was the default choice for any film in
tamil/Kannada/Telugu. He didn't excel in Bollywood because he was not ready
to move out of Chennai. By the way he got a National award for the first
break that he got in bollywood..EK DUJE KE LIYE
kiran1081 on July 26, 2012 soul stirring music - Kudos - Burman Saab - Its really unfortunate that you
are no more- Rest in Peace.

bubulg1 on August 03, 2012 Well said buddy..
Sunny Tg on September 17, 2012 How does it matter my friend as long as you enjoy the job, do you really
know from where that so called English was copied?
andy mish on December 29, 2012 This music was composed by Pancham well before Anuradha paudwal approached
her and this tune was even used in Hindi film Saagar (1986/87) with
Pancham's own hummings alongside. Gr8 composition though.
