ashok48393 on February 21, 2011 It looks like the video is not from Ek Jhalak. It is from Aas Ka Panchi.
But thanks for sharing this beautiful song.
ashok48393 on May 22, 2011 @PankajDalal I think you meant Pradeep Kumar not Kishore Kumar.

Dipak Majumdar on October 02, 2011 Memorable performances by two superb singers. We did not realize that it
was the golden period of our music world. Who was the Music Director?
mastkalandr on October 02, 2011 @dipak321100 ..Hemant kumar is music director of this evergreen romantic
duet.. Thanks my dear friend ! for sharing..
Dipak Majumdar on October 06, 2011 As I remember, an Eddy Calvert record has the same tune. However that takes
nothing away from this superb duet. I definitely prefer listening to this
song by two memorable singers.

Ramesh Bhasin on October 01, 2012 what a composition!
gopal sinha on May 30, 2013 Both geeta roy and hemant kumar were unusually gifted with magical,
mesmerizing voices -- very much suited to and compatible with each other...
Raymondnk on June 06, 2013 Yes, I do agree, I have "Cherry pink and apple blossom" original number
introduced by Pat Boone in early 1950's music by Billy Vaughn (of "Wheels"
fame) who was also Pat Boone's mentor!! this number is a very good
rendation of the original in Hindi.
Ashoke Mahtani on June 21, 2013 Hemant kumar alongwith Rahul Dev Burman,Bappi Lahiri and to some extent the
virtuoso Salil Choudhry were undoubtedly the biggest lifters of and from
Western music. All from Bengal- Some Freudian psycho- analysis needed here
for the slavish psyche of the supposedly intellectual and artistic
pretensions of "Sonar Bangla"
Ashoke Mahtani on June 21, 2013 'Cherry Pink & Apple Blossom White"was not an original Pat Boone rendition
but featured in the '50s thriller "Underwater" starring Jane Russell
Richard Egan. It was very popular band number in the mid 50s and had
numerous versions and a very good Trumpet rendition by Eddie Calvert-
Fortunately I have them all in various CDs- Really the golden age of music
both in Hindi Western music. I pity the younger generation fo these days
who are saddled with the trash we get to endure these days.
Raymondnk on June 22, 2013 Hi! Ashoke, Thanks for the information, I never knew this piece of music
was from a movie! how ever, I do have Eddie's trumpet rendition of this
number it's very good.
Mohammed Yousuf on August 27, 2013 Doesn't suit in Rajendrr kumar. This song must be made for Dev Anand or
Guru Dutt
mastkalandr on August 28, 2013 Thanks for feedback..
mastkalandr on August 29, 2013 Thanks for liking..
JOGESH KAVIRAJ on September 28, 2013 Cherry Pink and Apple Blossom white was popularised by English service of
Radio Ceylon and proudly presented by Hamid Sayani in those days. Pat Boone
and Eddie Calvert 's numbers were very popular
mastkalandr on September 28, 2013 Thanks for sharing..

Anand
