Initially Madhubala was taken for this film but during the shooting she and Dilip (they were to get married) fell out with each other and she opted out, presumably paying up all shooting cost - would the film have been better with her? Vyjayanthi was of course stunning!

a wonderful unique composition by Nayyar saab and of course who could have given life to it except Rafi saab. what a composition what music. We are lucky to have had such music directors. of course we cannot forget the great lyrics - if i am right it was Majrooh saab. thanks for the song.and salute to all the greats.
