@asherfawad @asherfawad Well, in this case, you are wrong. Alamgir stole this one. This is much older song than Alamgir's.
But bollywood as usual did its trick and did not create this one from scratch. This is a copy of "Benny Mardones - Into The Night".
I am a fan of Alamgir and grew up listening to his music. He had a great voice but he did not have creative talent. His original song were all done by PTV. The ones he created were always an inspiration (or copy?).

@gujranwala2001, I think you are not being fair here. It is your lack of knowledge. ALL of Alamgir's music was composed by Alamgir ONLY starting from early 70s. He used to have a musical tv program where he created "Dekha Na Thaa" in 1976. All through the 70s and mid 80s, he created his own music. Some of his music was inspired by English song but Alamgir NEVER COPIED INDIANS. There IS NOT A SINGLE Alamgir song lifted off of Indian Music. That is not to say he never listened to them

dude. you were probably were in your diapers/shorts when this song first came out in India in 1980... LATER the song was picked up for a movie in INDIA in 1985!!!! Then Many years later.someone. alagir ..COPIED the song.

Its Rukhsana Noreen . This is an original song sung by Indian in 1985 for "Meetha Zehar",Alamgir is not the original singer He just copied the song badly. I am the witness I heard the Indian song in 1985. This is the original song , no doubt.!

First of all Alamgir DID NOT copy this song. He simply re-sang it by giving full credit to the original singer and composer. He has sung songs of Hemant Kumar and Muhammed Rafi and he is NOT presenting them as his. Unlike the ZALEEL copy cater Bollywood Plagiarists who boldly copy any song whether from Lollywood or PTV and call it their own BLATANTLY without giving due credit to the original composer. Alamgir still sings very well inspite of all his kidney problems. He is TRULY a GEM
