A piece of me left today. With tears in my eyes, I'm listening to his
Ghazals. Growing up as a kid, Jagjit Singh's ghazals introduced me to music
and life as a whole in late 80s and 90s. I could drive many, many miles for
his ghazals concerts, and would do everything to get a handshake or a
picture with him.His ghazals taught me the philosophy of life as Jagjit
Singh sang for all of life's occasions. Oh, I will miss him till my last
breath.

I felt the warmth of love because of his Ghazals when i was 18!!!! When
rejected, I got solace in his ghazals, and till date the line Agar Hum
kahein aur wo muskura dein brings a smile on face, this is the depth of the
feelings these ghazals had on me. I always believed Chitra to be the power
behind his soulful voice, the day I heard they were not together, i was
heartbroken. JagjitG, may god give you peace. Will miss your Sir, weill
miss you badly.

he is no more with us. he was one of its kind & nobody will be like him till the end of this world. i will miss him rest of my life. ghazal lost its king. his voice and selections were matcless. his compsitions were awsome.

Music has lost a stalwart with the passing away of Jagjit Singh and we are the losers. He brought Gazals to the common man.Chitra Singh is an excellent singer but she stopped singing after the death of their only son.Life is so unfair and our hearts go out to her now.
Jagjit Singh will always live and there will never be another Jagjit.R.I.P. Sir

have lost my heart, identity, someone who was resting in my heart since my

Aap jaise singer bohat kam milte hai. har vo insaan aap jaise logo ko kabhi nahi bhulega jisene kabhi kisi se pyaar kiya hoga or jise gazal se mohabaat hogee... aap ki kami hamesha hame mehashusa hogee.. umeed hai aap ne hamari mahafil se alvida kah diya lekin kahi na kahi aap ki mahfil vahi dard baya kar rahi hogee.
