Absolute classic from music director Ravi with words from Asad Bhoopali
To these lovely words Ravi has given such a lovely
music that this song can be heard again and again without being tired of
hearing again..This is called melody! .. Great jewel of a song..Songs like
this one were only created during the years 1940 to1965

A popular song in Lataji's voice sung with much feeling, and when is it
not? Asad Bhopali's words remind us not to despair in the face of
adversity. I had forgotten that it was composed by Ravi - another feather
in his cap. Thanks, Ajay.

fantasti melody from lata under Ravi. lata has not sung much under Ravi.
Whenever they joined together it was gem of tune eg. Khandan, towerhouse,
dobadan ankein.we can go like this.Ravi the most underrated composer. He was
equal to any body when his competitors were Shankerjaikishen,Naushad,SD
Burman Madan Mohan, C.Ramachandra and O.P.Nayyar. We were fortunate. We can
select best out of best.
kuckudk on August 02, 2015

A heartrendering song. every one connected with it is to be praised.
Thanks Ajay
Showkat Khan on September 23, 2015
Ravi, a superb composer was the most under-rated one among the giants at
the time, Shankar-Jaikishan, Madan Mohan, OP Naiyyar, Rowshan, SD Burman
and C Ramchandra. Maybe, it can be said that Ravi's fate was similar to
Chitragupt who did not get as many opportunities despite being a top class
music composer for Hindi and Urdu films. Salil Chowdhury, described as "a
genius" by Raj Kapoor, was a wonderful composer but was mostly busy with
composing Bengali and various other language songs. Absolutely
heart-touching song by Lataji, one of her best ever songs.
