You people are so silly discussing and creating bad feelings rather than
enjoying the music and the songs from the past. People like you are the
reason the government of these countries are still deviding people rather
than bringing them closure. Mr. Mishra, The Moguls came to invade, but they
adopted India as their own nation.British came to India and Invaded and
looted India, devided peole and ruled and we see the result of their policy
to devide and rule.You are still deviding.

I have read history of India. Shivajee wa snot a king or defender of India
or part of it.He was an outlaw who looted citizens of Surat seven times and
terrorized south Gujarat. He kept the mogul army busy and the british
succeeded.This is the fact that was in the history, and now that has been

You know the "great" king Akbar, which I am sure you are worshipping,
killed 30,000 unarmed men women and children in the forts of Rajasthan
because they didn't convert to Islam. Shivaji was a great king. The present
borders of India are pretty much the extent of the Maratha Empire. I am not
even Marathi, infact I am Gujju fyi. If it wasn't for Shivaji and the
Maratha empire, god knows what would the map of India be like.

haters trying to make the moghuls look bad. Moghuls adopted and ruled
India, there was no masscare like you are imagining. My people were robeed
by Shivajee who only like Marathis and hated all others. If you are GUJU,
you will go back and check history of Surat. When I was in school many
decades ago, in Surat, The text books were not altered and shivajee was out
law. Go do some research on Surat and then comment.

whole empire, it was the great moving city of aurangzeb where the diameter
of the tents was 30 kms; tis started the great battle of 27 years between
the moghals ands marathas; during these 27 yrs, abt 500,000 moghals( wich
is a very big number during those times ) and 200,000 marathas were killed,
but the moghals were irreversibly weakened n they started retreating;at the
same time the Sikh rebellion peaked up...

as i said earlier, read history, specially Sir Jadunath sarkar from
calcutta who dedicated his whole life in studying the moghals, his study
received great acclaim by all great european historians...read tat first
and then talk, regarding internecine wars, tat was a very small factor, coz

who were from Maharashtra. All in my eyes were great in their own unique

I am sure we will. Under dire situations, even cowards start to do brave
things. I don't think patriotism today would be as strong as that of the
great freedom fighters, but I think that's mainly because at the time of
the independence struggle, we had been so oppressed that the patriotism of
freedom fighters had to match the desperation of the people of the country.
But the fact remains that we had plenty of cowards back then, and we will
have plenty of brave patriots should this happen today.

Now Indians have to do their duty to remember all of them, read about their lives and do their parts to make sure that they do not become slaves of the evil people within India who want to divide India based on religions, language, cast, party, and harm the Indian people again.
