Happy birthday to Shashi saheb...And wish him many many happy returns. I
think song is on Godh bharai (Baby shower). Very nice touch on this song...
Most of the songs from this film was popular and regular on radio days but
I do not remember this film running for more than couple of weeks in my
home town. Majestical voice of Lata is always well suited on Nandaji.

@derubala thank you dee ! i don't remember having heard these songs in my
childhood . i think i got familiar with them when this movie was shown by
dd , perhaps in the mid eighties . kaise manaoon piyawa ,i must have heard
only twice on the radio in the past twenty years .. only '''mujhko samajh
baithee hai ye duniya deewana '' sounds familiar to me .

I got Master degree, married and left India in 1969. So after '70...I do
not know much... Mujhko samaj...never heard...But other songs like... Neend
pari lori gaye... kaise manavu piyawa... akela tujhe .. Jhuk jhuk jhume...
gori babul ka gharawa.. All above songs...were very popular in 60's radio
days. Up to 1969..India had no TV...a small reason for me to come USA was
to see TV :) The reason I saw Love in Tokyo (1966)...to see TV in that
movie. I saw Love in Tokyo...only one time in my life

@derubala i think kaise manoon was the first song of char diwari which i
got acquainted with and just became a big fan of it . and then neend pari
lori gaye is one of my most precious loris sung by lata ji which i came to
know about very much later . the other songs i don't remember hearing on
the radio although i was an old songs' listener even in my school time . i
stopped listening to new songs while still in school , so i too don't know
much about the songs after mid seventies !
