i could`t understand why they singing bollywood songs in Coke
Studio..actually bollywood always wanted to highjack anything good
happening around and just for commertial purpose.How singers
like Sunidhi Chauhaan, Shaan and Shanker can get feeling of folk..MTV
just trying to ruin real soul of Coke Studio.

just because a song has been used in bollywood does not mean it can't be
performed in coke studio . MTV never claimed it's a folk based program .
IT's a platform where masterpieces are getting created . Shankar Mahadevan
has sung it really well here ...I disagree with the basic belief that
bollywood is taking over and ruining it . Only 2 episodes have happened.
Let's not get impatient.

amazing!! Shankar mahadevan just turned a Sufi song in to something with a
strong carnatic flavor! Genius!! Oh god - how beautiful it is to listen to
the carnatic swaras coming in otherwise Sufi composition - pure magic!!
