@ramaraksha01 I agree with you, I have lived half my life here in the United states. What I am disagreeing with is that you are equating movies to religion. You cant possibly correlate hindi movies with hindiusm, and english movies with christianity. That a ludicrous claim, is all I am saying.

I went to Bombay in 1977 and saw this movie. Storey and music was so powerful that I fell in love with the movie. I went back to Lahore with the memories of this movie. ( this was the time before VCR ) Then In New York I watched on VCR and later on DVD. Now the magic is on YOU TUBE. Lahori Munda From New York. Masterpiece.

Awesome. Amitabh Bachchan's expression at 2:29 is priceless. My fellow Americans can say all the disparaging things they want about Bollywood but the fact is Bollywood produces more entertaining cinema on a lower budget than Hollywood. And in the end, you see a movie to be entertained which is just what these classics do.
