Comments on song "Angdaai Bhi Vo Lene Na Paye (Kya Kya Nigahe Shauk)"
sakha10 on February 10, 2010 I agree with your sentiment, Chamogaaji.[ I always enjoy your comments.]
.In some ways our Hindi movies have kept the genre going in a non exploitative manner .And one can say, that Movies are such an integral part 'our' real life.

V. Siddhartha on February 10, 2010 Thank you. Indeed, the movie versions of this rich tradition are as clean
as one can expect. Some great movies like Umrao Jaan( portrayed by Rekha)
even heighten our social consciousness. Instead of contributing to women's
dehumanization, they encourage us to celebrate the beautiful artistry
connected with the genre while deepening our compassionate instincts toward
the performers. I hope the tradition continues on the silver screen.
memon46 on February 14, 2010 there was no movement in the video but mujra was fantiastic. movement of
video would add more entertainment .
hembhuvan on February 15, 2010 Great song. Thanks.
asha1053 on September 22, 2011 beautiful music. Can someone tell me which movie this song is in?
19n9ove on March 03, 2012 My Urdu professor discussed the lyrics of this movie in 1963. It has been 48 years I saw this movie, it has haunted me ever since. What surprises me there is no information about Nakhshab. What is even more surprising that he could not bring the magic back. Nakhshab you will not be forgotten. Zindagi ya Toofan is forever.
hembhuvan on April 28, 2012 Great song. Any possibility to see this video with live action rather than
still pictures? Thank you.
DR. PRASANNA MANGRULKAR on November 02, 2012 This actually is a ghazal by Nizam Rapuri (1819-1898). Listen carefully to
know the name of Janab Nizam Rampuri in the last sher. besakhta nigahe jo
aapas mein mil gayi kya munh par usne rakh liye aankhen chura ke haath yeh
bhi naya sitam hai, heena to lagaye gair aur daad uski chahen vo, mujhko
dikha kar haath kuuche se tere uththen to phir jaaen hum kahan baithe hai
yaan to donon, jahn se uthake haath dena wo usko saghar-e-may yaad hai
'Nizaam' muhn pher kar udhar ko, idhar ko badha ke haath
DR. PRASANNA MANGRULKAR on November 02, 2012 Urdumetro, You are correct. I have given the other shers of the ghazal by
Janab Nizam Rampuri. My friend Dr. Vinay Waikar told me that the
compilation of his poetries is available under the title 'Deewan-E-Nizaam'.
Vishnu Tiwari on May 07, 2013 Actually this song was not part of video, which saw.
mofalam on June 01, 2013 yes the misa tarah is from nizam rampuri
Abdul Qudus on June 14, 2014 Mr. Massive Ali, can you please write more about your uncle Nakhsahab Rizvi
Jarchvi.
Mohammed Ahmed on April 12, 2015 What a beautiful mujra song this is...fantastic composition by NASHAD.
Sad to note that he never got due recognition for his high quality work as
Music Director.
Abdul Qudus on April 22, 2015 Just a dying wish, someone can load the video.
Abdul Qudus on April 23, 2015 If you understand Urdu then you may understand the erotic nature (not
vulgar by any means) of this song. Who can forget Nakhshab & Nizam, who
expressed so beautifully the treatment they got. How rude that can be,
someone offering a drink without even looking at you (you feel wretched to
be ignored like this_ but that is how our lives are).
I agree with your sentiment, Chamogaaji.[ I always enjoy your comments.]
