cases, which were political , hence it was 'TERMED - controversial, ( the
video and NOT the cases..)...and this was for gurdeep's post...please read
back and forth to get the whole conversation..and dont point fingers this

due to his fight against corruption in the Golden Quadrilateral Highway
Construction. A Foundation has been created in his name to fight corruption
in India.

3rd verse Manjunath, an employee at the Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) was
murdered for closing down two petrol stations in Lakhimpur Kheri for
selling contaminated fuel. This issue stirred an uprising among students at
various Institutes including IIM and IIT and has led to setting up of the
Manjunath Shanmugam Trust to fight this case as well as focus on governance
in the public sector in India.

response to her activist work for the land rights of tribals in Nalasopara,
suburb in the outskirts of Mumbai. Her fight was mainly against various

Satyendra Dubey was a bright young engineer and project manager of the Golden Quadrilateral,In a letter to the Prime Minister's Office in May 2003, he exposed the corruption and irregularities in the road building contracts issued by the NHAI for this project. he also requested for his identity to be kept a secret. The contents of the letter and his identity were 'leaked' by the Prime Minister's Office and on 27 November 2003, he was shot dead in Gaya, Bihar.
