Comments on song "Bin Dekhe Aur Bin Pahachaane Tum Par Ham Qurabaan"
swaminathan63 on August 19, 2009
Thanks Khaled Bhai

Did not have this relatively rare number from the movie as other songs were superhits. Not nitpicking but it is Bin Dekhe aur Bin Pehchance.

Thanks and Regards

Swaminathan

The guy has a way with ladies that's proven over the decades!
And richly deserves every inch of the way.
And Rafi endorses wholeheartedly!
Wonderful upload. Thanks.
MoleculaRafian on April 07, 2010
@kchopra4080able Definite sweet energizer ! Of course we all love this Khoya Khoya Chand Guy. I can picture Rafi, " Please bring me the lyrics, show me the tune and in no time, "OK , I am ready for recording ". I can't see Rafi rehearsing this for 100-150 times like Mubarak Begum told me ! Thanks again, Khaled. Make it a great day, MR

--- This song was composed in 1960; any idea when the album " Music for an Arabian Night" was released/ composed?
shriniwasd09 on March 13, 2012
The Album " Music for an Arabian Night " was first released in 1959 in Vinyl LP..Later in 1996 first Cd version came up. SJ took the number " Dancing Eyes" for the Hindi song "Bin Dekhe..". In fact, from this album other Hindi composers also took tunes...for ex...Baje payal cham cham from Chchalia, Rahe na Rahe..from Mamta, Maine bulaya aur tum aye from Apne huye Paraye, Ye chanda rus ka from insan jag utha...all movies from 60's. Original compositions are by Rahmani brothers.

-- Thanks a lot for the Information friend :) I am a researcher of old Hindi film music (also a record collector; I have almost all the Hindi film records in my collection, from 1940 to 1990), but I am not at all aware of Western music. If "Rahen na rahen hum" is included, then "Thandi hawaayen" (Nau Jawaan) and "Saagar kinaare" (Saagar) should be included also; they have the same tune. Did you mean "Chand sa mukhda kiyun sharmaaya" from "Insaan Jaag Utha" ?

Another one of my most favorite rendition by The Greatest Muhammad Rafi
Sahab. You are definitely right about Shammi Kapoor Ji but Deve Sahab also
did a great job in the movie. Anyways, Thanks for the honor of sharing this
classic dear Jamie. God Bless.

Sadly this Song was deleted form the Films final print and is also not
available on Cds too. For the reasons best knows to its makers, they axed
this gem . Anyhow thanx for uploading this rafi masterpiece. Evergreen Dev
at its best, wonder How Shammi Kapoor would have acted on this piece,
because he was the original choice of Nasir Hussain, the producter of the
Movie, but due to some ego clashes, Shammi Kapoor dropped out of the cast
and did Teesri Manzil, which originally had Dev in leading role. Yet the
exchange had no effects on the final results as both Films were Box Office
Hit.
