I`ve got to say that I disagree with you. Aasif Sheikh initially started
acting in films in 1988, as a main-lead actor. He rightfully deserved the
position. The 90`s.famous, famous decade for top-class actors; there
were some big names in Bollywood at the time. The survival rate of new
actors therefore was very slim and films depended much much more on the
starcast than they do nowadays!

amongst actors at the time. At the time of making for this film, there
could have been a chance. SO, it`s nothing to do with his role-type; but
rather the circumstances the film was released in.
