Sharda won the filmfare trophy for this song in 1969 but still the wedge
between Shankar and Jaikishan continued over her. But I love this song

Anjali Kadam who is shown singing this song is a truly beautiful woman who charmed all who knew her. She was also 'Miss Bombay' in early sixties. She seems to have just disappeared after acting in some well-bannered films. Could anyone post any more details about her?

The more I hear Sumanji sing, the happier I am that she got all these great
songs. At one music quiz I heard singer who sounded so obviously like
Lataji - but since it was too obvious an answer, I went with Suman
Kalyanpur - I was right of course, I do not remember the song, but it was
from Jahan Ara.

who will believe, that this song was sung by "Suman" like that many songs was sung by suman, and never ever before differentiate by someone. "Suman Kalyanpur" was will become the India's Nightingale if that reign was not of My Favorite, true Meaning to Singing "Lata Mangeshkar" some people hate lata because of lata's and suman controversy, as they think lata destroyed the future of suman by giving up singing to those famous music director because of taking suman instead lata.
