came to know that Raj kapoor is making a film without his song he rash to
Raj kapoor and said R.k will going to launch a film that's too without my
song it is impossible i want to sing a song make arrangement for it and
that's how history made, and this is the last song Mukesh ever recorded for

KAPOOR HAD CHOSEN THREE HEROINES FOR THE ROLE OF RUPA...HEMA MALNI,
SAMITA PATIL AND PARVEEN BABI. ASTONISHINGLY, ZEENAT AMAN WAS NEVER
CONSIDERED FOR THE ROLE. IT WAS A WEEK BEFORE THE FINAL CHOICE HAD TO BE
MADE, THAT ZEENAT SUDDENLY TURNED UP AT RAJ KAPPOR'S OFFICE. SHE WAS
