भी दिल को उदास कर देती है, पिछली बार सुना था वोह बीमार थे लगा ठीक हो ही
जायेंगे लेकिन नहीं पता था की आज के दिन भगवान् उन्हें अपने पास बुला लेंगे.
उनकी गजले भले कितनी भी कठिन हो उनकी गायकी के अंदाज़ से वोह हर दिल में बस
जाती थी. भगवान् उनकी आत्मा को शान्ति दे, भले ही वोह हमसे बिछड़ गए है लेकिन

se ho juz margh ilaaj..Shamaa har rang mein jalti hai sahar hoany
takk..means THE PAIN OF BEING ALIVE ENDS ONLY WITH ONE'S OWN
DEATH..(because) THE FLAME (of life) HAS TO SUSTAIN ITSELF UNTIL THE DAWN
(death) COMES..How true! Jagjit sustained himself despite the tragedy of
his son's untimely death in 1990. Having lost his son who still was in
prime of youth, transformed Jagjit completely. This reflects in his ghazals
