Nice song, but what it conveys is not true. We got independent not due to
those tea sipping round table conferences held by Gandhi and his ilk, but
due to simple reason that after WW-II Britian was unable to hold onto a
huge landmass India. Indians might have two fathers , I don't.

Just watching this video makes me cry, and Im a grown young male, omg its gotten me choked, and when I think Im nothing compared to this one person.
He truly was an incarnation.
Wish I could see bapu, but my great grand father went and lived with him in his ashram for a month or two.
Gawd Im still crying, and more :)

One of the most misleading songs of our generation.. The so called
"Father of the Nation" was responsible for far more bloodshed than a civil
war. He let our martyrs die at the hands of the British whilehe kept giving
lame excuses to save his skin. He is the major contributor to bloodshed
during the partition.. May his soul never find peace for what he has done.

I just finished reading his autobiography second time after 24 years, and I
just can't believe what this great man accomplished with his will power,
determination, positive attitude, and trust in God. He changed himselft
first then expected others to follow. An unbelievable tast considering
today people are trying to change others and they themselves are exactly
where they were years ago.

before the aggressive Congressi Leaders like Nehru, Patel et al. We did not
listen to Ghandhi and now we harvest the misery. One must read Jaswant
Singh's 'Jinnah' to udersatnd the realities of the Indian Holocaust !

wo ek normal insan ki tarah mistake kar sakte hai.aisa unhone apni aatam
katha mein bhi likha hai.or desh ki azadi mein to sabhi ka yogdan hai like
