I love this movie. I don't understand hindi that well. (I'm bangladeshi) But I'm gonna pick up on it hopefully with my mosque being a mix of hindi and urdu speakers, but anyways. I wish indian movies were like this still. Now it's all about, "Let's see how much skin we can show before the censoring comittee kills us!" LOVE this song.

i think hum aapke hain koun is the best family movie ever made..the closest would be hum saath saath hain..but this too cannot beat hum aapke hain koun in terms of the story line(love, happy, sad, funny, moral+family values), good songs and of course good casts (though hum saath saath hain has pretty good casts too)..man, who can deny the chemistry between salman and madhuri..gosh!how i miss those days with good movies and good songs..

Thank you for saying that. Obviously Bollywood does plagarize a whole bunch when they run out of time but the oldest movies were always the best. There are maybe 1-2 movies a year that still make me watch Bollywood movies, you know?

No matter what thre'll always be comparisions made with movies in each genre. I always loved the old movies, now they're all westernized (if that is a word). That only makes me dislike them more. Course hardcore Bollywood lovers either love new(well written) stuff or just are in love with their culture. As for those who flock out to waste their money, isn't that their fault? I agree with you though on the same plot over and over.This movie is actually one of the movies that Madhuri was best in.
