Comments on song "Dil Ki Umangein Hain Jawa"
Dee Thakore on June 20, 2009 one of my favorite lampoon... so sweetly done.
Tusharbhatia20 on June 24, 2009 o my god...I used to wait for this song toplay on
the radio..it never did!thanx a millon!!! Even the words spoken by Geetaji
drip with music!!!
pariapsara on August 02, 2009 Hemant kumar ---what a voice I love you dripping nectar
Parag Sankla on August 21, 2009 Yes Tushar ji, this must be one of the very few songs where Geeta ji has
spoken a few words in addition to singing. We can only say "Wah wah wah".
Another feature of this song, this is the only duet of Hemantda and Geeta
ji ever composed by Burmanda. And it is technically not a duet, but a trio
with Pran/Thakur singing !
himsingz on August 28, 2009 one of my favourites.. i saw munimji 20 years back. great
scene...putting pran in his place funnily rather than with fists and
kushti. i love the way she chips in with 'bechain tanhaaiyan...'
hlmehra on February 03, 2010 @himsingz i saw this film when i was just fourteen years old. great movie. nalani jayant's beauti has no parallel today.
SHREEMAADHAVA on March 31, 2010 One of my most favourite songs. This is one of those rare song where the
whole atmosphere gets vibrations of ""prasanmataa" , the singer sings
effortlessly with his unique soothing throtal-humming, guitar music
complements the voice, and Nalini Jaywant, with help of other two, adds
just the right amount of mirth. Thanks, and thanks again.
Arun Kaul on July 04, 2010 Pran looks dumb...
sonny19xx on July 10, 2010 handsome and debonair. nalini is gorgeous. above all it is the voices of
hemantda and geeta and the music of sd that make the song what it is.
thanks wwwgeetaduttcom
sonny19xx on July 10, 2010 dev as usual handsome and debonair. nalini is gorgeous. above all it is the voices of hemantda and geeta and the music of sd that make the song what it is. thanks wwwgeetaduttcom
Suryakant Vora on November 11, 2010 munimji's everlasting song
Kiran Adimatyam on November 22, 2010 kya baat hai ?:) Pran to kam nahi...:)
Suryakant Vora on December 02, 2010 just superb cant describe any more. keep it up
Coucoutchicou on March 08, 2011 Hey, why Geeta THAKER instead of DUTT/ROY in your title...?
ashish das on March 15, 2011 @Coucoutchicou It is Thakur not Thaker who is singing for Pran. Geeta
stands for Geeta Dutt.
Coucoutchicou on March 16, 2011 Sorry, I was miselad by the fact that there is no comma after Geeta so that
it looks like one name and not two...
Neelima Pradhan on August 06, 2011 thx fo the upload of this lovely song.fore ever youn dev anand.. :-)
spptube on December 04, 2011 RIP Devsaab
NANDI KHANNA on December 05, 2011 Dharam Dev Anand Saab, very few actors have good laughter & yours was the
best, like bright morning.
MrRubbishness on December 20, 2011 @kunalbajpai I guess so.
RupehlaBadal on April 03, 2012 Dev is not playing the guitar. Enough said.
But that only makes him cuter. <3
Srikant R on December 05, 2012 This is Subir Sen . Not Hemant Kumar
Partha Mukherjee on December 08, 2012 Your r wrong friend.. I have the cassette of this film... Moreover I took
an Interview of Hemant Kumar in 1988.. He has sung the songs by S.D
Burman.. Subir Sen does not have that mellifluous voice like Hemant...
sandeebush on April 12, 2013 congrats for dadasaheb phalke award Pran saheb
Flagfalls on April 29, 2013 Wah wah, what an ensemble cast! Simply the best! Hemant Kumar's rich
baritone suited Dev Anand so well (Dev, at least "pretend" to play the
guitar). Geeta Dutt was an under-rated singer who deserved much more. Such
velvety vocals! Pran singing has to be the highlight of this song!
Sasha Lawrence on May 07, 2013 "(Dev, at least "pretend" to play the guitar)." I know! Hahahaha! That's
always amused me! Oh, Dev. :DDD
sandeebush on July 13, 2013 long live Pran saheb! we will miss you!
Kapoor Satish on July 15, 2013 sadly both dev saab n pranji are not with us any more
Anup Choudhury on September 13, 2013 These are all my personal choice to share with you like people.
Niranjan Joshi on December 17, 2013 great song by hemant and geeta remembered old days thank u u tube
Ramesh Thakrar on January 27, 2014 What a cheerful song! One of the finest sung by both singers
Kusal Bhattacharya on April 21, 2014 What an expression from both the singers.
viresh_ roy on August 20, 2014 Composed by the great S. D. Burman on the lyrics of janab Sahir Ludhiyanvi,
this frolicsome yet pleasing melody sung by Hemanta Mukherji and Geeta
Dutta 'Dil Ki Umange Hai Jawan (film: Munimji- 1955)' has definitely a
touch of western melody in it, and it only remains for searching the
western folk tunes archive to know this touch.
One such tune embellished by Scott Price into a popular music track was
'Perverted Tango', later used by the TV gag show 'Just For Laughs' among
his other tracks, to which I am given to believe the tune 'Dil Ki Umange
Hai Jawan' bears a distinctly basic resemblance, only its sample clip
remains to be enjoyed to believe it at:

Vinay Hegde on April 24, 2015 The poor villain has to sing like a donkey while the hero gets to sing in
Hemant Kumar's melodious voice !
Hasmukh Jhaveri on June 23, 2015 wonderful music by s d burman.
one of my favorite lampoon... so sweetly done.
