My ALL TIME favourite Hindi film song-Definitely Mukesh's best but
unfortunately not available on any of numerous compilations- I usually
listen to this song AT LEAST 20 times a day ever since it was broadcast
first on Farishta Worldspace- Manek Premchand was kind enough to oblige my
fervent requests to play it first on 9/2/11 and thereafter it was regularly
broadcast on Khwaahish and other programmes of Farishta- ENJOY

Awesome !! I heard this song last when I was a 10 year old kid and living
in backwaters of Delhi. I am hearing it now after a gap of 50 years,
incredible. And I seem to remember every word of it. This is one song that
connects me to my childhood.

If anybody has this song of LataJee from the film SHEESHA starring Nargis I
don't remember who was on her opposite.The song is "JAWANIKE RASTE PE AAJ
MERA DIL HAI , NEHI KOI SAATHI YE BADI MUSHKIL HAI". I am expecting the

Rajendra Kumar never liked Mukesh to playback for him, from what I have
heard. I guess our stars do not realize how much of their popularity they
owe to our singers! Well composed and beautifully sung, indeed. Great

rajendra Kumar prancing among the scenery. She has such a seductive shy
smile. Does any one know whatever happened to her? Mukesh's magical voice
with Dattaram's musical bells & violin strings make a perefet melody. Is
the setting around Matheran-Mahabaleshwar mountains and lake? Thanks to
