Great old memorable song from GMD sahib and Lataji of earlier days.Sadly
GMD had a sad end of the career while Lataji flourished. In fcat GMD helped
many artists to come up in the field. However he suffered in the process at
the hands of some.GMND always remain the versatile popular singer.

It is learnt that GM Durranis career was badly affected by the female
singer who was the leading one. then he went to has and after returning he
stopped singing as ordained in Islam. However soon he got into bad times as
earlier he gave away every thing he had to poor as per Islam.rafi tried to
help him. But it was too late. He suffered cancer and recovered later with
the help of a lady. Relative. But all was over. He passed away in
harness.His life is an example how a big tree will not allow small tree to
grow. same was the case with sultans ham apandit who was hounded out. it
happened to Mubarak begum.also
