rafisolanki on April 08, 2011 I like the songs composed by the MD Husnlal and Bhagatram." Ruth huwa mali tha, bigadi huee qismat thi" song is full of meaning, which vibrates the heart.Song writer,Qamar jalabadi, has given the lyrical feelings of the young hearts,,fallen in love. This is the very nice and sweet song of late forties.Pre independance songs are unparrel and unique in their spirit.I express the vote of thanks for uploading such a beautiful song which may like to listen again and again.
rafisolanki on May 10, 2011 Thank you very much for feed back of my comments,Khan sahib. My birth year is 1942.In 1955, i had adolescent love with a good looking, beautiful girl, who had utmost desire to marry me,but when she grown up, her parents got her married else where, and fate parted our ways. Thus, sad romantic songs, always take me to the past, the reminiscences of my love at the first sight.Really, one has said rightly, that the literature and poetry are nothing but reflections of the human life.
Ravi Gokhale on June 15, 2012 What a sweet tearjerker. Many thanks.
Dilip S. Coulagi on April 10, 2013 Gosh...old song from my childhood - babyhood, even. Thanks for
posting. Who wrote the song?
Bajaury on April 24, 2013 Mera mizaj ladhakpan say aashiqana hay. My relative was in love with a
young girl, he was 13 and she was 12. When she got older her marriage was
arranged with another man. At the wedding night he and one of his
accomplices scooped the girl and took her. Later he married her. She was
his second wife but he was willing to get her at any cost. He paid a hefty
price but het his love. Sad- you did not get your love.
Bhavesh Desai on June 13, 2013 Chand {1944}: Manju singing for a child Balakram a co-artist of Prem Adeeb
& supporting charatcter; performing on stage for theatrical company run by
Ram Singh in Calcutta in the movie; Lyricist: Qamar Jalalabadi; Music by:
Husnlal Bhagatram
Bhavesh Desai on January 21, 2014 Manju giving playback for stage performer child artiste Balakram
sharmakdevendra on August 16, 2014 What a truthful song.when I listen to this song, to my mind comes the story
of Suraiya and Dev Anand who both were in love but Suraiya's Nani was
deadly against this inter religious marriage.Result was that Suraiya
remained unmarried till her death ( 31st January, 2004)
Then there is the story of Madubala and Dilip Kumar.Though both were of
same religion but here her father of Ataullah Khan was very conservative
and held her in close watch. When outdoor shooting of Naya Daur was to be
held near Bhopal, he objected Madhubala going there as Madhubala And Dilip
Kumar could have come closer to each other as they were already in a crush
for each other.
Ultimately BR Chopra had to rope in Vaijayanti Mala for this film and Dilip
Kumar spurned Madhubala being annoyed with her as she could not resist her
over protective father.Ultimately Madhubala married Kishore Kumar in 1960
but this marriage was not compatible and she died in 1969.
Both the above stories endorse the statement 'Do dilon ko ye duniya milne
nahin deti'
