Alisha sounds very bad and out of tune everywhere!! Vijay Prakash comes and
saves the song with some glorious singing! Just goes to show how rigorous
classical training beats out anything else when it comes to singing I dont
know what is this obsession that bollywood new wave composers have with
these rocker chicks (mili nair, alisha, shruthi hassan)

to each his own .. coke studio is meant to bring musicians of different
genres under 1 roof and get them to re-engineer an existing song (in most
cases) .. how well the end product looks is completely up to the music
producer .. he's the one being showcased .. not the singers .. trouble is,
he's used a kid like alisha .. asked her to sing in punjabi (not her
forte), in a low key (not her comfort zone), next to a crowd fav singer
like vijay (disaster!) .. let's not be too harsh on the kid ya ..

Alisha sang it veryyy well and even Vijay Prakash sang it beautifully. The
only part that was bad is the chorus. It was not in one wave/flow and not

Initially I thought it was a man singing. After listening to top 20 coke
studio india songs, I have no desire to visit the rest. Don't get me wrong,
I came here expecting some great music. However, I found the music and
sound engineering below par. I have no intention to draw comparisons here.
Visit coke studio pak and see and feel the difference by yourselves. I
still hope there would be good music coming from india.
