aishwarya rai is too bouncy ur right. nice observation. it seems as if she's way too hyper and can't wait to get the dance over with whereas madhuri is quite stable and adaptable with the dance moves. i don't know why but it seems as if aishwarya is quite conscious about her moves.

u guys frget madhuri is suposed to be a courtesan ... and a seasoned dancer
in the movie role too ... both dance well according to their roles ... aish
is very hyper in the context of the scene cus she feels devdas has found a
worthy companion and she doesnt need to worry about him so much ... so she
is happy! and thats supposed to show in her dance chill ppl aish and
madhuri dont compete with one another

I beleive that the director indeed performed a mistake allowing both madhuri and aishwarya to dance in this song because i beleive that's a reason as well why aishwarya rai got nervous because she probably had realized the fact that people would critizize this song and compare the two and she is probably aware that madhuri is a well trained and more experienced in the dancing area whereaeas in my opinion aishwarya deserves and needs practice.

But yes I was going to say I dont think Indians in India will be very aware of it and might think it was a negative comment hence the thumbs down. So Indians listen up it was in good humour.

Kollywood is strictly regional; very rarely do any films gain any substantial following by non-Tamils.

@varghesee It's not about how pretty or OK the singers are; in Bollywood movies characters are supposed to sing but hardly any actors are good singers; so they lip-sync. There are many singers like Alisha Chenai and Sunidhi Chauhan who look gorgeous but still mostly lip-sync.
