NeeliAankhen on March 26, 2007 Film: Hare Rama Hare Krishna. Available on Netflix, also probably can be
bought from Nehaflix. Highly recommended. It's about the hippies from the
west who went to India and Nepal, as seen from a moralistic Indian point of
view: they are shown as lost and decadent. One great thing - the hippy
extras are played by actual hippies hanging around in Inda and Nepal at the
time.
somethinglacking1 on April 23, 2007 God i love the 60s...smokin pot all day, peace man..groovness...i wish i

sanjuz on August 10, 2007 One of the funkiest tunes ever made by man - and that's coming from a heavy
James Brown fan!
Tranquilabiding on August 19, 2007 So cannabis is the cause of hari krishna? One should have guessed that.
Jon Chapple on August 19, 2007 Actually the film is mocking the drug-taking Western hippies that flocked
to India and how they completely missed the point of Eastern religion.
Tranquilabiding on August 19, 2007 True i know a lot of those. "Enlightment" true drugs, would be a first.
Jon Chapple on August 19, 2007 Agreed. There's only a certain amount drugs can open your eyes to, and it
never lasts.
Tranquilabiding on August 19, 2007 I wouldnt know but :-D However I can recommend learning meditation.
Jon Chapple on August 19, 2007 Definitely. Chant and be happy!
thebless4ever on September 15, 2007 hare krishna hare ram...!!!

by nature and if u take it they give u some kind of high.. I dunn know if
its true but i heard it started because rishis used to do tap in himalayas
and to survive in cold they started doing it i aint sure at all. Those
sadus u wld find rare now n yes they r nt druggie they dunn smoke to get on
high just like dat
nchakraborty on May 28, 2008 Jenfucius, As far as I know, you can not really 'smoke' bhang...you either
drink it or make tortila like chips out of them...Anyways, good
discussion...keep going...

Leonmorgan on February 09, 2010 'bhang' is a general term for cannabis , so you can smoke bhang- in the form of 'charas' or in the form of 'ganja'

vja1970 on October 30, 2010 The beats and melodies in this song and Asha ji's voice is itself like a
drug.
Sameer Pandey on October 30, 2010 There is no match for Asha in pop music...She was the pop queen of Indian
music...This song is a perfect example of her superiority over any past,
present and future pop singers.Bravo

shradhapati singh on January 05, 2011 I met somebody in metro yesterday who said by joining Krishna coinsiousness

joined it can tell. You dont need anything to be happy yhis is my opinion
gendarpres on January 15, 2011 Thirty years ago I worked in an Indian restaurant in NYC. The kitchen workers were all Indian. I used to hear them playing this song that I loved. Thirty years later I remembered the lyric "bolo subu shyam". And from that, with the help of a young Indian man at the grocery where I get my special stuff, I found this again. Now I know all the lyrics, the three lines. The pleasure this gives me is just beyond all others. Thirty years and I found it.
gendarpres on January 18, 2011 A beautiful song, that's all. There was an Indian rock group who had this on an album back about 1980. Does anyone know who that was?

Michelle yang on September 21, 2011 @desipoop followed that ..lord shiva should ve been assoiated with this

smthing ur parents did tell u that was happening in the 60's, where there
were flower children blooming every where// n India though dint encourage
it, goa and places around the nepal border was hippie heaven ...
