@smodass about a Music Director being greator than a singer? yes it is true
but in case of RS, when he sang the song he really gave different
dimensions to the beauty of the song.. he has that magic in his voice
coupled with his abilities to put immense feelings, pronounce each word to
it's best & using his unique singing style to make it more beautiful.. this
make Rafi a greater singer than what a normal singer is..

@smodass about tum bin jaon kahan!!!! it is a romantic song & should have
been sung with lot of love & romance in the voice.. m really sorry to say
but KK had failed to bring those in his voice.. his tone in the song is
like as if an egoistic or a proud person is singing or when u talk with lot
of attitude or pride but Rafi sahab sung it with that romance, love &
innocense in his voice.. thanks a lot

@mohdrafihabib Dude, I am one of the biggest Rafi fan, so do not try to
teach me. I am only objecting to the comments left by some who only glorify
Rafi and refuse to admit that others (like music directors) are
contributors also. Also, I do not see any need to put down other singers,
to show how great Rafi is. Each singer has his own style and strengths. Try
to enjoy all their strengths, rather than trying to prove only Rafi is the
greatest.

I think only Mohammed Rafi could have done justice to such a composition. It is very difficult to sing live. The other song from this film " aanese uske aaye bahar" is another example of a song carrying on n on on a higher pitch to sing it comfortably , only a singer o f extraordinarily god gifted capacity could do it so nicely mainaining the voice quality and also the keeping voice of the actor enacting on screen in this case jeetendra, is no mean feat. There are many such songs sung by Rafi

Both Rafi & Kishore are gr8, very difficult to say who is better...I guess
no one could ever take place of these 2 gr8 singers...at-least in this

Oh Jeetendra is more then Tushar. Jeetendra looks like a gentleman in this

Pepe, Rafi Saab's voice was highly recognised from the 50's - the list of
songs is endless. No doubt, KK was the popular choice in the 70's but Rafi
Saab was often called up to sing songs that KK couldn't sing, he's done
this on numerous occasions. To KK's credit, he knew & admitted his
limitations but always attempted a song. Even RD Burman had to use Rafi
Saab (a displeasure for Lata & Asha) for songs that KK couldn't sing. Don't
get me wrong, I like KK's voice but prefer Rafi Saab's more!

Rafi was ALWAYS beaten by KISHORE when they sang togther-- thats the truth.
Think muqaddar ka sikandar, Don, trishul-- RAFI was rejected-- would get no
big banners--WHY? ppl rejected him thats why. by FALSE hype and religious
frenzy no one can prove rafi was better than Kishore- HE WAS NOT--- Kishore
had a heavier , better VOICE--- by the way i am a Christian nd giving a

No need to compare KK and Rafi..both were great singers ..each one
had songs which were created that their own individual style and voice
texture. Some songs would suit KK better than Rafi and vice versa..KK
had a more powerful and manly voice .but Rafi had better songs when
compared to those of KK , simply because the songs during the 50s and 60s
were superior in quality...KK songs were mostly composed by RD Burman ,
SD Burman , Rajesh Roshan , Kalyanji Anandji ..
