No one seems to be giving any credit to the great music director, R. D. Burman. If he didn't compose the music, the song wouldn't have come to life. Gulzaar Sahab himself would admit the same.

What a song, what a singing, what a chemistry! The love between two people
can be acted in movies -- this seems like they are just being themselves
here. Possible Dharamji talked to Gulzarji about his feelings -- this

half of the views of this video can be attributed to Perm Room mates by TVF.
When i watched this movie years ago, i fast forwarded this song it being
slow and irrelevant to the plot. But its amazing how beautifully TVF was
able to incorporate this in their work with so much finesse. Kudos to
Burman, Gulzar, Bhupendra and Team TVF for reliving this legend of a
ghazal.
