BOB IYER on July 09, 2012 A great song by Rajkumari, full of pathos and feeling. Mahal is one of my
favourite films of yester year! The songs were lilting, the story the actors
were par excellence. Ashok Kumar gave a memorable performance of his life.
Madhubala was divine. Kanu Rai in the court room was super. The song Ayega
aaneywala made Lata popular even among non-hindi knowing people.Rajkumari's
"Ghabrake jo hum " used to be another of my favourite songs.
Abdul Qudus on September 10, 2012 This is one of the greatest Indian movie. Every thing is superb. But when it comes to these immortal songs, these were words first, then came the music, dancing & acting. Who wrote these songs? It is sad the poet Nakhshab is hardly mentioned. The creator of Zindagi Ya Toofan which had been copied over & over again.
