were rare as a pair. Very sweet, and a special treat. Thanks, Ajay.

rumahale on February 03, 2013 Lyrics by Shakeel Badayuni Music by Ghulam Mohammad Rare gem in true sense
of the word; less heard (or probably not heard - not sure). And, both the
singers have rendered it beautifully. I am hearing about Sitara Kanpuri for
the first time. I am also impressed of the crystal clear video. Thank you.
Isuru Kariyawasam on April 27, 2013 in the record label it says Sitara Devi. So most people confuse with Sitara
Devi the kathak dancer and also the catress songstress of 30s and 40s. But
this is Sitara Devi also known as tarabai. or sitara bai. Same thing
happens to the famous actress uma Shahsi. in early 30s records she was
named as uma Devi. Sometimes people confused her with the songstress tun
tun ( Uma Devi) of late 40s and 50s.

Shalin Bhatt on October 05, 2015 This is Sitara Kanpuri, a playback singer, not to be confused with Sitara
Devi, a singing actress and dancer
This is a truly rare duet by Mukesh and Sitara, just as Mukesh and Suraiyya
were rare as a pair. Very sweet, and a special treat. Thanks, Ajay.
