This song shows the melodious music RC Boral used to produce preceded by a
very melodious orchestra-music before singer steps in and also
orchestra-music taking over after first Antara is finished in place of
sthayi (not sung by the singer and left to the orchestra), which shows that
RC Boral used to command the whole song's music including the accompanying
melodious music.

However, in case of KL saigal singing under him, the begining-music was
there,but after Antara Saigal used to sing Sthayi as well and thus Boral
was deviating for Saigal, knowing Saigal's God-gifted voice and style. Thus
Boral-Kanan Devi-Saigal produced magical effect in songs, of highest
quality in light and light classical music.

This appears to be sung by Kanan Devi. The singer has sung, better than
even Lata had she sung this song, most beautifully in her curvy and
melodious voice and style. Even Lata cannot produce the magical melodious
touch of the singer of this song, which has bengal's magic.

This song appears to be composed by the greatest ever (till date together
with Khemchand Prakash) music director of Indian films-RC Boral, the father
of Indian Cinema music, in (his as it appears to be his one of the
favourite Raagas) Raag-Malgunji (combination of two melodiest mid night
Raags-Rageshwari and Bageshwari).

As per information available, this song was sung by Rekha Mallick. Binata
Bose acted in the film and also sung three songs but apparently not this
song. Kanan Devi did not sing in this film. The songs JanGanMan and Madhu
Gandhe Bhara are Bangali songs. The film is based on original Bangali film
Udayer Pathe. The 78 rpm records were issued on Columbia (Record No. VE
2531 has this song and at the back is Hansi Chand ki by Binata Bose.)

Good song but hansi chand ki is better and not available bengali version by
Tagore chander hansi band begin in sauna rag is superb by vinita Roy, Bose.
Could someone put these two.
