Comments on song "Gori Tere Natkhat Naina"
Dee Thakore on February 22, 2010 very lovely duet. Makes your heart beat go up... thanks for lovely upload.
V. Siddhartha on February 22, 2010 No doubt, derubala. Very lovely. This Subir Sen was to Hemant Kumar was
Mahendra Kapoor was to Moh'd Rafi-- a close enough likeness of voice to
throw me off balance now and again. As for Geeta Dutt, she will remain as
distinctive in her magnetism as Shamshad Begum; both are impossible to
replicate. Thanks for the forward.
Parag Sankla on February 23, 2010 I am glad you are enjoying these almost forgotten songs of Geeta ji. I will
try my best to keep these song alive.
Parag Sankla on February 23, 2010 The way she sings giving it a "Three dimensional touch" (as against other
singers), it truly touches the heart of the listener.
jasbongy on February 23, 2010 Thanks derubala for sharing this beautiful song. Thanks oldHFMfan
ji.10************ With respect. Sarla.
jasbongy on February 23, 2010 Thanks De for sharing this gem. Does not Subir Sen's voice is very similar
to Hemant Kumar ji ? Love Sarla.
Parag Sankla on February 23, 2010 Yes, Subir Sen (and Dwijen Mukherjee) does sound like Hemantda.
Ajay Yuvraj on February 27, 2010 Beautifull rare duet, thanks.
Parag Sankla on February 27, 2010 Truly, its a lovely song, forgotten in the passage of time. I am glad you
enjoyed it Ajay ji.
psuhaskhan on April 10, 2010 Beautiful duet. Simple, soft & melodious, like all other songs directed by
Hemant da. Thanks for the upload
musicparast on August 31, 2010 it was pretty generous of Hemant Kumar to give this song to Subeer Sen! but
then those were the days!
nayanmalig on March 04, 2011 subir sen - what a voice. he should have sung hundreds of more film songs.
nayanmalig on March 13, 2011 this reminds me of O P Nayar's music style. specially the interludes. super
song. i really like subir sen.
Seema Sood on May 11, 2012 beautiful and very soothing song, hemant kumar has given some master

Savji Patel on June 29, 2013 what a lovely song & words
Shyam Sunder on December 03, 2014 A great song indeed in all respects (of course the playback part, as i have
not seen this being played on screen). A very rare combination of
Shailendra the king of hindi lyrics who had the genius to make ordinary day
to day words used in hindi as powerful tools of literary gems which he spun
in song after song (words used here vaar karein "hitting or attacking" as
also natkhat naina meaning naughty eyes) and what an intoxication in the
musical composition of Hemant da as he weaved magic by blending a heady
mixture of Rabindra Sangeet with folk music of eastern India and what a
lilting orchesratin !! Regarding singers bringing alive the body and soul
of the words and music in their voices so perfectly. Yes Subir Sen sounded
so like Hemant Da and this song is a recognition of the talent of a fellow
singer by a great musical genuis known as Hemant Da. Hats off to Parag
Sankla for bringing a gem back on the forefron dug deep inside the memories
!!
Emanuel Ferraz on September 30, 2015 GOOD RARE ONE
