Now I realize why Lata and Aasha consider Noor Jehan their mentor. You just
can not enjoy this song after listening to the one sung by Noor Jehhan!!!

@GurjotSi First of all..I am very proud to be a blind fan (as u said) of
Asha ji... Asha ji is a legend and the singing diva cannot be inferior from
amy aspect.. Both the versions do have different hues..But Asha ji has
given life to the song... Never mind.. This is not personal.. Just
expression of views..whole world is aware of Asha ji's ecstasy and poignant
singing.. So no point in arguing over the universal truth..Have a great
day!!!

Asha ji recorded this when her singing was touching giddy heights. Nurjehan
was old and on her last stage of singing. So its unfair to compare. Asha
looked after her vocals unlike madam. SAD!

I like madam Noor Jehan and Asha also. But believe me there no comparison
of ghazals sung by madam. Asha G is far behind from Madam Noor Jehan. It
seems Ashah is singing a filmi song.. Madam is Malaka E Tarunnum, The only
Melody Queen.
