S P Balasubramanium. He has sung many songs in hindi and in south Indian
languages like Tamil, Telugu, Malyalam & Kannada. In hindi he gave voice to
Kamal Haasan in "Ek duje ke liye". He also gave voice to Salman Khan in his
early days in movies like Maine pyar Kiya, Hum aapke hai kaun etc. Truly a
brilliant singer.

Whether its a remake or not who cares but the point being is the movie depicts the harsh reality of life , not all dreams come true. Amrish puri and Jackie performance were outstanding.
