it shows that you do not know what acting is! In fact it shows three
things, one is that you do not have acting sense or art sense, two is that,
you do not have decency or etiquette sense, three is that you are a little

She did the Laila-Majnu sequence super perfectly to say the minimum...Her enthusiasm and timing were perfect for the sequence, especially when she points to the shadows and declares they are not the ones before them...Super!!

No, she was not a mediocre actress in any way, as she delivered some best performances in garbage-like scripts. Medicares do not do that. And she made lifeless characters into live-wire performances; medicores do NOT do that.

Any way, I may sound biased as I like her a lot, but that's my own opinion from observing her...She's a wonder.

Watch KK, Dil, and Saajan, and see what a magic wand she had to turn out a few moments into immensely lovely performances. She was much larger than her screen space...Admire her a lot!!

Dancing also is a form of acting . And a competent, seasoned, wonderful actress like her can take a basic set of movements into a new horizon with fantastic expressions and perfect timing, like she does here and many other spots.

The problem is that she was subtle and in some way much ahead of her time, so some people may end up thinking more of her dancing and not of her amazing *acting skills*!

In Saajan there's a line "Aapne Saagar ji ka *qalaam* nahi parha?".
She gave full justice to the line, esp the word "qalaam", which a pure Urdu word...Adore her a lot for her approach toward acting.
