from 1971 and I have actually searched for it on You tube to listen to it.
It is almost 40 years old but one of the evergreen songs.

This movie, Tere Mere Sapne, is an adaptation from the fabulous novel, "The Citadel" of AJ Cronin. Devanand is the epitome of Grace and Mumtaz befits the role, as if it is crafted around her..the character (if I remember is Christine..so many years I became amnesic). The music, of course, is , as you may well experience, celestial. What a harmonious blend of characterization, music, voice, instruments and lyrics..An Eternal Classic!

Tere Mere Sapne was one of Vijay Anand's more underrated movies, not as
well known as Guide or Jewel Thief, but very good one. And very romantic
picturization of this song.

Agreed with you, Sir. Vijay Goldie Anand was a master of song
picturization. Who can forget the magnificence of the songs from Tere Ghar
Ke Saamne, Guide & Jewel Thief? They wouldn't have been half as memorable
if it weren't for the splendid choreography & picturization. In fact,
Goldie had hit a sixer in his very first movie (Nau Do Gyarah) with a song
called "Kya ho phir jo Din rangeela ho" which is forgotten but the
picturization is superb.

Absolutely...that's why many modern director considers him an institute of
film making.My personal favorite Vijay Anand directed song is "Dil Ka
Bhanawr Kare Pular" from Tere Ghar ke Samne. If I am not wrong this is the
only song pictured in Qutub Minar. I love the camera angles, melodious
music of SD and great chemistry between Dev Sahab and Nutun. To me it is
one the best romantic songs you will ever come across.
