Comments on song "Husn Ko Chand"
ShreeMohammedRafi on December 26, 2009 This is from Pyar Mohabbat (1966) not Jawaan Mohabbat.
swaminathan63 on December 26, 2009 Thanks. I could not recollect it in Jawan Mohabbat but went by Earthmusic,
and smashhits sitewho have made one of their relatively rare mistakes (rare
given the volume they handle) Have made corrections in the title (too lazy
to do it in the flv all over again) Regards Swaminathan
ShreeMohammedRafi on December 26, 2009 Theres a segment at the end of the song Mere Sapnon Ki Rani in Jawaan Mohabbat where the words change to Mil Gayi (x6), Mere Sapnon Ki Rani Mujhko Mil Gayi (x2), this is probably where the confusion lies.
Earthmusic, though relatively extensive, should only serve as a starting point and should by no means be taken as gospel. At times it can be incredibly erroneous, in particular when searching for information on the more obscure songs sung by Mohammed Rafi.
ShreeMohammedRafi on December 26, 2009 MohdRaficom has a decent database but for a site that has been around for 10 years and has claim to being the premier website dedicated to Mohammed Rafi, it only lists around 3500 songs, an extremely poor effort on the part of the administrator as well as the regular contributors to that site.
Individuals like you who collect, catalogue and share Mohammed Rafis are the ones who are largely responsible for keeping alive the memory of this titan and his huge volume of work.
ShreeMohammedRafi on December 26, 2009 This needs more recognition and appreciation. Through your zest, enthusiasm and unreserved dedication the magic of Mohammed Rafis heavenly voice is reaching a much wider audience.
Long may your endeavour continue..
my aplogies for the mess below)
ankabutman on March 18, 2010 This is a magical song...sung by the magician...too damned good
sham909 on March 29, 2010 You are very correct. There should have been more rafi songs. What is
lacking is religious songs by rafi. I have only about 50 rare religious
songs by rafi. Do you have any rare religious songs to share?
