Hello, the music director is Ravi. Actually, Rafi sahab won an award for "teri pyari payri surat ko" from Sasural (Gharana & Sasural were release same year 1961). Sasural's MD director were Shankar Jaikishan. Both films had Rajendar Kumar as leading man.

Rajendra Kumar looked very good as long as he was using Rafi sahib's voice. But when he spoke dialogues in his own voice, that charm was gone.

as i looked back in the days when i was a young boy listening to these songs and today listen to the same songs i cannot see any difference but the memories comes back to you and give you that joy that pleasure makes you feel as you are back in the days when you first heard these songs.

Rest in peace Ravi sahab. He was among the best of his times. His best work is with Rafi sahab. He also shaped Asha Bhonsle's career along with OP Nayyer sahab. He was the king of melody. We will miss you Ravi sahab.
