I can hear and taste the greatness of Lata Mangeshkar and Naushad Ali Saheb.
To me, she did express every feeling of Madhubala so beautifully and I think it is sung the Way Naushad Saheb wanted. Great song.Hats off for Naushad Saheb. Hea real maestro.

Apparently Madhubala got very emotional while this song was being
picturised on her and even after the scene was shot she couldn't stop
crying. Everyone in the studio were disturbed and at the same time were
applauding the masterpiece of both Naushad and Lata. Its a real pity that
era of strong lyrics and music has finished forever.

Dilip kumar was asking too much when he asked Madhubhala to leave her
