I had a poor recording of this song. What to say, youngsters are missing the beauty of old times natural surroundings and beautiful lyrics/music of black and white songs, relaxed laid back attitiudeof of 1940/50..thankyou sir for this wonderful song..full of nostalgia

Bombay Talkies in Malad, Bombay produced some great movies in the 40's.
Ashok Kumar acted in most of them . The famous movie is Mahal with him and
Madhubala. The singer here,Arun Kumar is a cousin of Ashok Kumar.This is a
very heart touching ethereal rendering by Arun. S D Burman became famous
when he started directing music for Dev Anand and his Nav Ketan
