I object your mention of MS. Well even the great vidwaans of the languages
were amazed by her ease in singing the different languages. Well I am
Maharashtrian guy and I can assure you about MS' Marathi songs that there
isn't any mistake. And well all non- marathi people know how hard it is to
pronounce correctly as there are more consonants than other languages. Same
way I can tell you about her hindi/gujarati bhajans Hmm in Hari tum Haro
there's (bheer for peer) but just ONE!

hehe marathi we have two consonants for "cha", "zha", "ja" and 2 three more
we write it the same way but pronounce differently, that makes it very
difficult . . :P you seem to very over confident about everything, Anyway I
don't care. Only thing prompted me to reply you was the mention of my
Goddess, but it wasn't needed . . NO replies plz :P

Mangalore is in karnataka, tulu is a language spoken only in Karnataka
apart from migrants. They are not kerala mix. Do a proper research.
Jayalalitha is a daughter of keep(dancer) of mysore Maharaja JC. The king
has built a palace in her name and it is called Lalith mahal in mysore.

Iyengars and brahmins were chased out of Tamilnadu.They were given shelter
by Mysore maharaja. Mysore maharaja had a big heart as he allowed them to
practice/perform rituals in Tamil. Kings from Karnataka had great attitudes
because they cared for other languages, religion and cultures, that is the
difference between TN and Karnataka. Tirupati was supposed to be in TN but
was given to AP in exchange for Chennai. so it is not surprising to see
tamil in tirupathi, kannada is very popular as well

It is not surprising to see discrimination based on colour in India. Duniya
Vijay is kariya, shivrajkumar n puneeth r not fair either but they adored
by many in karnataka. Tamilnadu is not promoting kannada carnatic music but
is rather paying respect to carnatic pithamaha Puradaradasaru (that is a

It is not about discrimination but frustration n discrimination caused by
TN WRT kavery, as they base it on age old agreement, even Rajkumar
kidnapping could be ponted towards TN politicians. The press in TN
overempasises. In karnataka ppl do speak in Tamil with a Tamilian, telugu
with a telugu thats because we respect, and everyone r welcome...so u can
find many tamilians in karnataka

there is a tamil scholar who said that tamil existed even before humans. is
that not fantasy? you have to give up TN supremacy attitude and accept the

Well said!!!! There is nothing called South Indian culture each region has
its own culture and history though many are commonly related. Mysore has
always been ruled by maharajas so u can still find the effect Mysore
dasara, mysore palace. college blds & universities are classical. There are
many historic places as well.

the accompanying instrumental music is not in sync with a traditional...
keertana... that is set to Carnatic style,notwithstanding the way the music
is rendered is prolific and melodious, I think it falls into the genre of
classic experimentation, a neo- classicist experience at that. there is
definitely a certain confluence of elements of music which cannot be
gainsaid... it definitely makes listening a pleasure and the sonorous
quality of the cadences, the mellifluous cascade of outpouring music is
again and again seems modernistic and experimental..a departure from
traditional classicism. I have to confess that I enjoyed listening.
