or there are th eones who want to pretend they understand something great
and the others who are not under any such compulsion. all a mater of
opinion. great music - ordinary movie.
anando das gupta on February 14, 2013
Indeed and then there are people who have pretentious issues of the ones
who actually understand good films but then mass of India enjoys movies
like Dabang 2 so...hail mary jesus to that.
nareshgb1 on February 14, 2013
he he - OK so continue your intellectual fantasies. Dabang is just a fun
movie and does not pretend to be anything but. This movie on the other hand
was made by some hollow "I want to impress" kinda "movie maker" who
impressed those that want to say they are different and who want to be
impressed. Peiord. But i dont expect you to get that really, If you want
the real deal, go watch some hollywood movies that kashyap and is types
copy their style from.
anando das gupta on February 14, 2013
In this country where movies like Pyasa and jane bhi do yaro was a flop ,
there isnt much to discuss. Here , infact point to current conversation , I
dont expect people like you to have taste, I expect that in this country of
blind the few one eyed people's eyes are forcefully stabbed out.
nareshgb1 on February 14, 2013
LOL..you are deadly serious about this movie.. OK - to each his own. I
hope you find lots of such "serious, good movies" to enjoy.
anando das gupta on February 14, 2013
No I was basically just enjoying this conversation and trust me requiem for
a dream is 10 times better than this movie however I am not going to take
much away from this either .

I play to this and Pardesi oh Pardesi on my hand carved African Djembe and
my long time friends and Partners in business Ron and John Singh are from
Punjab, and they ask me, "Are you positive you are not from India", "You
play Punjabi music perfect like you learned all your life there". I was
told by a group of 25 Djembe Masters from Africa at the 1994 World Music
Festival at the Seattle Center, "You have the hands blessed by the Dalai
Lama ".

I hope to someday meet Jazzy B and play to his music for him. I think he
will be more than impressed.

Everything was so real about this movie. never even felt for a moment that
I was watching a Bollywood movie. I was a little disturbed at the end
because this could very well have been me with the reckless and hedonistic
lifestyle that I led up until 7-8 years ago...not worth it at all. reining
in your mind and simultaneously leading a curious and inquisitive life is
the only way to overcome pain, fear, anxiety and depression.

I used to think Saali Khushi was Saari Khushi
