by Sahir and sung by Suman Kalyanpur which appeals for peace and
tranquility. This song is not as famous as Sahir's Allah Tero Naam & Prabhu
Tero Naam... but still it is a beautiful rendition by Suman Kalyanpur and
music by Roshan.

beyond beautiful. And let us not forget the gem of a voice that has
rendered it, which is of Lata Mangeshkar, not Suman Kalyanpur.

What Shukeel Badayooni could not accomplish with eleven songs in
Mughel-e-Azam,Sahir has achieved much more and beyond that with this one
song in Taj Mahal.Sahir without an iota of doubt is the greatest poets of
filmdom ever.Lata and Roshan sahib deserve kudos for doing their jobs in
turn.Memorable song.

For my friend who says it is Suman Kalyanpur,...well..well..forget that.She
was a singer with much limited talent and look at the Urdu Tallafuz,this is
something only Lata can do and that too with ease and poise.
