Vigrot, It's a v.cute song no doubt, but unfortunately ur knowledge about
the singer is v.bad. Rajmanneth is correct. It's sung by the singer Sharda
who now has settled in USA for good. She achieved fame for the song 'Duniya
ki sair kar lo' from Around the World. ..A welcome change in the era
dominated by just Lataji & Ashaji. What a cute voice. It fits the moment &
the character in the film perfectly!. Infact all the songs of this film r
awesome, my personal favorite being ..Raat ke humsafar..

i like sharda's singing, but this song is just a poor 'copy' of the famous
hit song by the Shadows; 'Man of mystery' 1960; the original sounds a lot
better!

Hi Skagrock! I am glad, you enjoyed the 'original' unfortunately almost 99%
of the Shadows' music is instrumental only! anyway it was an attempt by SK
to 'connect' with the youth of the 60's !!

What a lovely song .Sharda is too good .I really have pity on her.She had a beautiful voice,but LATAJI DID NOT ALLOW HER TO SHINE ,WHAT A PITY AND SHAME. THE VOICE HAS SO MUCH OF INNOCENCE IN IT.

actually Sharmila is very talented..in the 60's she started off with
Bengali movies at a very young teenage girl and did very well, but when she
was introduced in Hindi movies, she was quite hot in some it (the swimsuit
and all and the cabaret costumes here) but later she proved that she was
indeed a talent powerhouse with movies like Aradhana, Mausam etc..

Itsa lovely song and I just cant stop listening to the catchy tune
.Actually it is a direct lift from the music composed by the THE SHADOWS a
guitarist group titled -THE MAN OF MYSTERY.I have always loved the
ShankerJaikishan group as they were well versed with the Indian classical
music as well as the western classical music ,they had stall warts like the
Enoch Daniels ,Van shipley and a host of Goan musicians .My father was also
with the group and would write the ENGLISH CLASSICAL NOTES
