Brother I am bengali from Kolkata and now live in USA. We bengalis usually dont beleive in cast systems and marry even on other releigion. cast system is irrelvant to me as I dont beleive in this. We need to know what we should follow and what not as lot of religious gurus and rulers created lot of these nonsense for their own sake to control the society. Let us make our country and releigion free from all these bad things.

@HeerSletti The words mean freedom. Freedom from what is a different
matter. As for the caste system, it was initially as division of labor.
Division of labor is a fundamental property/function in nature. Even at the
basic level of cells in a multicell organism, not all cells or parts of a
cell do same function. They all fulfill different roles. Taking it to the
level of human organs, liver is not going to pump blood for your body,
that's the function of the heart.

to fight and protect against invaders (kshatriya or soldier). Someone has
to be involved in trade (vaish) and someone has to do the menial jobs
(shudra). Unfortunately, as happens everywhere else too, power hungry
people started misusing this division of labor and thus you had this rigid
caste system emerge.

This is a semi-classical from the film KOHINOOR . There are many such

Although the Indian Government had entitled Naushad Ali as 'Mosiqar-e-Azam' but Musician Sajjad Hussain, who composed music of Sangdil, had pointed out that a note in this song has been played wrongly.

The Beauty of this song is best composed and best picturised. It looks that the voice is Dlip Saheb it self not Mohammed Rafi. Dlip Saheb feels to comfort and music is so sweet and looks so beautiful. The sad thing is that, the next generation will not have this amazing. Mohammed Rafi was a jewel in Indian Film Industry. Since Rafi Saheb left this left world no one has taken his place. These days reality show presented many singers but is there anybody who can even touched Rafi Saheb peach.
