If I remember correctly, NOT the film Btahmchari but Mr. Shammi Kapoor was
awarded best actor for this film. Ek phool Do Mali's story was excellent
but Sanhay and Sadhana's acting was average and the songs too were good but
not at par with 'Dil Ke Jharokhe Mein' and 'Main Gaaoon..' Perhaps (correct
me if I'm wrong, please) the film "Khamoshi" was awarded for direction.
