I must admit, although MRafi is my very favorite singer, it is songs like these that make KK an OHSOCLOSE second. Brilliant voice and skilfully song by the legendary man from India. It is also very strange to hear/see KK sing for Mehmood. When I was a younger man, as far as I can remember, Rafi (a few also by Manna Dey) did all the singing for him. But this is truly a beautiful number. Cheers.Thanks for sharing this lovely upload.I love this song.

Mehmood gave chance to four new music directors in his life. First was the
great R. D. Burman in Chote Nawaab. Then it was Basu-Manohari and Sapan
Chakravarthy who were R. D.'s assistants. And last but not least Rajesh
Roshan in Kunwara Baap. (Rajesh returned favour by giving chance to
Mehmood's son Lucky Ali as a playback singer in superhit movie Kaho Na Pyar
Hai.)

'saala kyaa theka hai ..baap...'the rhythm is just remarkable, and
kishore's energy and innate sense of hitting the right notes effortlessly,
not to forget mehmood's exceptional timing and penchant for music and

Kishore da is the greatest commercial singer that Indian cinema has ever
experienced without a shade of doubt. Its just considering the fact that
here is an untrained, eccentric singer pitted against more acclaimed &
classically trained singers but still able to manage to rise to the top of
all of them . Undoubtedly the most gifted, natural, versatile & macho
voice that Indian cinema has seen to date. Will there be another dada, its
unthinkable someone to have all these combination .
