I think Madan Mohan has taken the spirit of this song from S.D.Burman's
'Jinhe naaz hai hind par woh kahan hai' of Pyasa (1957). He was assistant
to Dada Burman for some time.

The credits for this song - Madan Mohan as MD, Kaifi Azami as Lyricist and
Rafi Sahib as singer are completely wrong. I think this a creation of the

beyond our imagination with deep deep thoughts,marvellous composition by
the great Madan Mohan ji and singers part ooooooooooooooh what a velvet
