I have heard this song many times but have never seen the movie, so it is
nice to watch this clip. Apart from the sweetness, as always, of Lataji's
singing, we get to see Meena Kumari in a light, romantic, joyful role. This
is different from her stock image as a tragedy queen. Tragedy , as we know,
unfortunately also defined her real life toward her end. This clip and a
few others help us see this acclaimed star in a more nuanced way. Thanks,

Oh how pretty Meena is ! The way she dances rather glides . Her expressions
are so oh.. no words. Raaj Kumar lends majesty to the song. His dance
movements are though odd and makes you laugh.The song is wonderfully sung
by Lata. SJ's music is the highlight . Something about this song is so sad
.. no not even that.. some nostalgia mixed with sadness. i dont know how
these composers come up with such wonderful tunes. THANKS yuanyuanyuanyin

well no comme nts on raj kumar's dance .. One of the rarest scenes ... Shud
be appreciating his efforts ... He cud ve surely put his foot down n not
danced ... One of few songs where Meena Kumari is smiling .. Not to miss
out on sheesha ay dil from the same movie ... Lata ji always made us feel
as if the actress herself is singing ... This is one of the speciality of
both sisters . Thank you to all the people who created the song and this
touching movie ...
