This is Mahendra Kapoor at his peak. BR Chopra was one of the few who gave
him breaks. Gumrah, Humraz, Zindagi Aur Maut, Stree, Navrang, Dharmaputra
and this one Yeh Raat Phir Na Aayegi would not be remembered much if he had
not adorned this films with his brilliant and memorable singing. May his

Rafi wasdefinitely one of the all time greats,but Kishor was GOD..that
versatility,that golden voice can never be repeated..n yes it is true that
rt from the time Kishor da left acting n took up playback singing full time
(post Aradhna),there was no one even near him..Bollywood had only two real
SUPERSTARS from 70s till date,Rajesh Khanna and Amitabh,and both had ALL
their songs recorded in Kishor's voice..

For those who discuss who was a better singer Mohd Rafi or Kishore Kumar I
will refer to the rare song "Ajab hai dastan teri ai zindagi" from film
Shararat where Mohd.Rafi sings for Kishore Kumar. Mohd Rafi is the only

Mannadey Mukesh Hemant, Kishore Talat & Mahinder were all less talented &

The last antara in the video says: "KOI Bhi Agar Tumse Aakar Mile To
Tumhaari Qasam Hai Mera Dil Jalegaa!" The same antara on the HMV records is
